I write this literally on the run. I did not realize life could be so so hectic and at times, most days, my body and mind shout stop and rest.
However, time races on oblivious of my woes!! Thankfully i have a loving Heavenly father who cares for me and pours out His grace each day.
Yesterday was Samuel 5the birthday. He spent the day being very excited about everything. Samuel had a slow start to life and after many months of parental stress we landed up at the Red Cross Children s Hospital in Cape Town having him assessed for MS. Samuel is fine and we are thankful His busy little life is testimony to his developing and strengthening body. He has stretchy ligament and low tone. He gets tired easily and can also do the most amazing things with his legs. We thank God for our Sam. He is a delightful little boy with a tangible enthusiasm for life. Thank you Lord!! Happy Birthday Samuel!
This blog contains some of the stitches being sewn in our living tapestry. My hope is that the readers will be encouraged by our stories and that you will somehow get a tiny glimpse of Jesus as he stitches the tapestry together.

saying goodbye
My very first tale as I join the vast groups of people who write on line. I'm not to sure what to say except hello and I think I am glad to be doing this. I guess time will tell.
Today I said good bye to a friend. He was renting our cottage and has been for 3 years or so. He moved today. He has been a good companion and friend . It was sad to say goodbye to him. I thank God for this young man and for his friendship to us.
